Shelf did come with a few scratches on the wood. You have to make sure to use the bubble leveler provided, but if you are off – you can adjust the ropes. Wish it would have come with nicer hooks – they are black, large and would have stuck out like a sore thumb if my wall wasn’t already painted black.
