This clock would look good about anywhere you wanted to use it. The one I got is black with white numbers. I’ll give it five stars because it’s really attractive. The only issue I have is the display is so bright. I have to use it on the demo setting in the bedroom, which means the display doesn’t show up that well during the day. Nevertheless I give it five stars because it works very well and it’s functional, very easy to see and very simple to set up.

This clock sits on my nightstand and takes up minimal space. I like that it is just an alarm clock and not a clock radio as I never would use the radio. It has a nice contemporary look and the numbers are large and easy to read. I love that you can dim the numbers to a perfect setting. My sister saw my clock and ordered one for herself.

This clock surpassed my expectations by far! The brightness is incredible, it actually adds an ambient light to my moderately small living room. The construction quality is fantastic and it also has a battery feature to retain memory if you lose power. Additionally, it is very easy to make time adjustments. Overall, it’s a really attractive piece to have sitting around and blends well with other faux-wood furnishings.

This basic wooden alarm clock gets the job done for an affordable price, but has some drawbacks in quality and lacking certain desired features.
On the plus side, the large 1.8″ red LED display numbers are very easy to read from across the room as advertised. The dimmable brightness settings are handy to adjust for day/night visibility preferences. And the optional battery backup is a nice security blanket in case of power outages, though the display won’t light up on battery power alone.
The array of adjustable alarm volume levels from soft to loud is appreciated. However, I was disappointed to find the clock does not run on batteries alone as I had hoped – it requires being plugged into AC power to function beyond just the alarm backup. The included AC adapter and USB charging port are conveniences, though.
While the simple wooden design has a nice minimalist aesthetic, the overall build quality feels a bit cheap and flimsy, making me question its long-term durability. The asking price was fair for the features, but I can’t say I expect this to be an alarm clock that lasts for years and years.
For basic bedside or desktop needs on a budget, this gets the job done okay. But audiophiles or those with higher quality expectations may want to look at higher-end alarm clock options. I’d recommend this for temporary use cases when you just need an affordable no-frills visible clock and alarm.

I wanted an alarm clock I could use instead of using my phone, and I wanted one that didn’t emit any blue light that would disrupt my sleep. It’s a cute design, easy to use, and it has several levels of dimming, but I turn mine all the way off at night. It’s also very reasonably priced. I’m happy with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars If it would auto adjust brightness, it’d be absolute perfection
First off, this is a great little clock. I really love the wood-like texture and how it’s not a shiny plastic that causes glare.
I bought this to replace an old OLD alarm clock we’d been using in the bedroom as just a way to see the time from across the room. We do not use or need the alarm feature (so I cannot comment on that aspect). This also means that we probably are using this slightly differently than many others are/will/do.
So far, we have had no reason to need any setting brighter than level 2. Even during the evening, as the sun comes in through our bedroom window. The location of the clock is directly across from that window, so it gets pretty bright in that area. Level 2 holds up well to that.
HOWEVER
Level 2 is waaaaay too bright once darkness falls. I can’t imagine having it anywhere near my head at night (as an actual alarm clock), due to that (we have it well past the foot of the bed, so as to be able to read it while lying down). As it is, it lights up my room like a little nightlight would. Maybe moreso. I also can’t imagine using levels 3, 4, or 5!! Good lord!
Level 1 is a perfect nighttime setting. Soft, not glaring, and still perfectly readable. It does not really feel like it’s “emitting light” (even though it is), it’s so gentle.
The problem is… there’s no in-between. So, we have to remember to switch between the two settings… once in the morning and once at night. Not a huge deal, but annoying. A light sensor and auto-adjustments would make this absolutely perfect. Still a five-star clock, as it may be more about HOW I am using it, rather than anything else. Maybe.

I bought a simple alarm clock a couple yrs ago from Amz mainly to see during the Night… it was HORRIABLE and I should have sent it back!! You couldn’t see the time (in blue) at ANY angle in the Day or Night!! It had a reflection in any way I put it UGH!!! So “THIS CLOCK” is WONDERFUL!! I got the Black with the White numbers. The Brightness you can adjust 5 ways and it even has a USB plug in the back! It’s very simple to use if you need an alarm as well. I highly recommend this simple good looking Clock with alarm. It does require 2 AAA batteries to keep the time etc if the electricity goes out

Bought this clock for my bedroom for it’s small size and large digital display. It’s nice since it doesn’t take much room on the nightstand and I can conveniently charge my iPhone from it as well. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t have more degrees of dimness. It jumps from very bright to lower dimness and you can’t get to a middle ground of brightness. The very bright is too much for night sleep and the next level is too low so that when you have a light on in the room you can’t see the digital readout at all. But overall I like the look and the clock keeps time very accurately. As a design feature I would change the location of the charging port to the side of the clock instead of the back. That would make it more convenient.

Didn’t get it for the alarm function, which is easy to operate if you wanted to have it do so. We got the clock for the Master bedroom, simply to have an easy to see and cost effective clock. This clock does the trick, especially to see when you get up during the night.
