5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent candles with CANDLE WARMER LAMPS
I love the Dark Berries and Bergamot candles. I did 2 experiments. The first experiment was I burned 2 brand new 9.9 oz candles for 3 hours to mix the fragrance. Then I used it with candle warmer lamps. This way you will get a much stronger scent and the candle will last you a long time. The 2nd experiment was without burning the candle just using the candle warmer lamps. Either way you will get plenty of scent in the room. If you only burn this candle the scent is very mild if you stand right next to the candle. The crackling sound is very mild. With using warmer lamps the entire kitchen smells heavenly. The warmer lamps make a huge difference. The air is clean when you use candle warmers and the candles last much longer. I bought several 9.9oz candles and one 19.9 oz. all with Berries and Bergamot (my favorite) and I will buy more. Using these candles with my candle warmers for over two weeks – the candle containers are still full. I highly recommend these methods if you want more scent out of these candles. I hope my review was helpful. 🙂

LOOOVE these candles! I have bought them in all different scents! I accidentally left it lit all night and it hardly made a dent in the candle size. Lasts forever – smells incredible!

1st the smell of the Sea mint and Spruce is amazing. Crackle of the wood is charming.
I don’t know that the candle would burn for 90 hours though. I’d guess closer to 70-75 hrs. I’ve lit this a fair amount of times but now it’s 2/3rds done and the wick is buried in the wax.
I followed all protocol by 4hr burn initially and burning for a couple hours at a time following. I really wanted the wax to burn eventually because the jar is amazing, and if I did a good job there would be little wax clean up.
By far this is the most expensive candle I’ve purchased but after doing research this company has chosen to produce a healthy alternative to the toxic ones typically sold.
I’m definitely apprehensive to purchase again at $35. I had added it to my subscribe and save because I was enamored with this product and it would save me some money.
Update: the company reached out to me regarding the candle not fully burning and sent me another candle. To be honest I had already bought a replacement through La Jolie because they’re products are clean and smell amazing, especially the Sea Mint and Spruce.
Yes, it’s expensive but it’s the nicest candle that I’ve ever owned. I had replaced it with the Marine. Which smells amazing but for my sensitive nose it can only be used in large spaces because it is a very rich smell.
In my opinion if your wavering I’d purchase. They smell amazing. The container serves many purposes afterwards with much more style than a boring glass container. I’m on my 4th candle. They are my splurge, but I’m able to burn them in my environment without worrying about cheap products making my air toxic.

Candle arrived on time and was packaged with extreme care (I had to use scissors to cut through the recyclable styrofoam like substance to get it out!). I ordered the sandalwood patchouli scent for myself and a lavender scent to be delivered to a friend. We both commented how beautiful the candle is. Since I have not smelled the lavender I cannot comment on the aroma but I do love the fragrance of the sandalwood patchouli. I can already tell it will be worth the price. I ordered the $ 36 size. I intend to send as gifts to others out of town. When lit the candle burns clean. There is little to no smoke and it gives off a beautiful light/glimmer.

***Update, both have the candles have burned through now and my opinion has changed a bit. The amber burned flawlessly and evenly, down to almost the last drop of oil and I was pretty happy with that as I can use the jar for burning other candles now. The cedar was the scent I preferred, but that wick stopped burning almost a 1/6 from the bottom of the candle, and now there’s about an inch and a half of wax still left but the wick is completely done. I followed the instructions provided and had great luck with the amber candle, but the cedar burned pretty poorly- lots of holes, dips, and wax left on the sides of the jar. I’d initially thought if I re-purchased, I’d definitely go for the cedar but now that they’re both done, I think I’d side with the amber for the sake of not wasting money. I don’t know that I’d say they’re worth $30 a pop and I assume it’s mainly due to the jars, but overall it hasn’t been a terrible experience. If they weren’t so expensive, or possibly were bigger, I’d re-purchase.

I love the wick on these candles and the lovely crackling you can hear as it burns. I use these while I’m writing and it helps set a really nice atmosphere. When I first opened the package, I could see they were wrapped very carefully and thoughtfully so they wouldn’t break in transit and the scent seemed really strong in the box. They didn’t seem quite as strong when burning, though. So the scents are great, but I somewhat feel like I need to keep it really close by or maybe turn on a fan to circulate the smell. I bought both options, and I honestly like the fresh pine feeling you get from the green candle. Only real bother for me was they seemed a lot smaller in person than I expected for the price. I would purchase them again because they’re so pretty to keep on my mantle, but this would only be a splurge every once in awhile.

I changed my rating because I had purchased these before and was extremely happy. This most recent order I got 2 one for myself and a coworker. I didn’t give the one to my coworker because the one I began burning has burned extremely fast compared to the previous one. Its halfway gone and I’ve only had it a week, the first one I used for several months before having to get a replacement. And the first purchase had an extremely potent and pleasant smell. This current candle smells mostly like the wax itself and a very weak fragrance overall. I am quite surprised in the difference. Still a decent product but something has certainly changed since my original purchase.

Despite other plans, we ended up with an artificial tree this year. I guess because of the awful heat and drought in our neck of the woods, it was actually cheaper to buy an artificial pre-lit tree than a live one of the same size. Bonkers! Anyway, one of the reasons I love live trees is that wonderful smell. I wanted that smell, so I started looking at candles. I wanted a good one, and I took a chance on this.
This is a magnificent candle, y’all! It’s a nice size, it burns very clean, it has one of those wide wooden-type wick (although this one burns nice and quiet), and the lidded glass jar? It’s so, so pretty. Sure, you could reuse any candle jar, but how often do we really do that? This is pretty enough to be cleaned out and used with either another pillar candle or even as a cookie jar/gift container. I could not be happier!

I’ve been on a mission to find the perfect candle I can subscribe to and have on hand at all times. Spending from $10 to north of $100, I am hoping my favorite isn’t at the high end. I try to order several at a time without reminding myself of its cost while sampling. I do this to keep an open mind and be honest with myself while my search continues. I am definitely narrowing it down and the reviews have been so helpful to me. I understand that the scent is an individual preference (that’s why I went ahead with ordering this candle.) From what I read, the smell was not what not as described, but again, I thought there was a chance I’d like it. Ugh, such a bummer because this really stinks! The candle is beautiful to look at. Packaging, presentation and protection was 100% but oh my, the scent is awful! Again, maybe it’s just not for me and I understand that, but this is the exact opposite of anything that I would ever want. The reviews I had read before were spot on. It really does smell like your grandmother’s perfume that had sat on her dresser for years. If you’re looking for a non-floral, musky, earthy scent, you simply will not find it in this. Too bad, because every single other thing about this was fantastic

I was very excited for this quality candle, with reusable container, and a beautiful one at that. It looks as described, nice wood wick, expected container. However, the scent is a slightly rose soap, and very floral scent. I’m not sure if it was due to an accident during production, or if it somehow has to do with storage perhaps. I removed the labels, and in heating the vessel just enough to do so, it was even more apparent this candle must be mislabeled/packaged, as the scent is definitely throughout the candle and not as described – yet refreshing. I have since purchased again, as I enjoyed the fragrance, however, the glass has heated and popped/broken several times on the previous candle – only safely burning 1/4 of the candle beforehand. I may use this as a decorative piece, out of caution, and hope this does not happen to anyone else.
